Sopwith Camel 1:6 Scale |
|||
|
Most
of the parts in this kit are pre – shaped. Wood and veneers in the kit
are the same quality which is used for the Proctor kits. You will find
necessary accessories as turnbuckles, all rigging wires in stainless steel,
and many more fittings in the kit. Parts which will add to scale
appearance are the rubber cord loaded undercarriage, the rubber cockpit
boarder, the rudder horns, the 175 mm dia. plastic engine cowling, and
last but not least the fwd. upper fuselage which is a plastic part to
cover the machine guns. The
model is built fast due to it’s size and few parts and may be
transported to the airfield completely rigged up. All this will give you a
fine scale model within a short time for lots of enjoyable flights. Due to
the fact that this kit is manufactured by Proctor it is not necessary to
tell something about its flight capabilities. Flight characteristics
have been trimmed by the kit manufacturer to an easy controllable
behaviour.
This
model may be recommended as a starter kit for scale modelling and/or scale
competitions.
