Spacewalker

With our Space Walker we have designed something extraordinary for our customers. Our Space Walker will be delivered almost ready to cover. It’s completely built from ply- and balsa wood. Due to that the structure is very stiff and strong but light weight. All ply wood parts have cut outs at not strength affecting areas. The uncovered model weighs in at 4 Kg that may lead to only 8 kg in a flyable condition.

The forward fuselage is nearly completely built of ply which will allow to install big engines. For ailerons, rudder, and elevator the cut out for the hinges are already provided.

The wing is a three piece part. The middle section may stay with the fuselage to ease transportation. It is attached to the fuselage with two screws and dowels. The two outer wing panels, which are a little longer than 1000mm will be attached fast and easy to the center section by two aluminium tubes. This makes the model airborne in less than five minutes.

Residual building steps to be carried out at the ARC model are: soldering of the undercarriage, painting, Servo- and engine installation. 

If you add only a few more details also our Space Walker will turn into a perfect scale model to be used during competitions.

To fly with our Space Walker is for all, also those who do not have three axe experience just pure fun. The Space Walker may be used to train beginners but it is also perfect to tow gliders. Last but not least the Space Walker is also capable of aerobatics.
